The 2018/19 Season has not only seen The Mighty Dee further the stretch of consecutive seasons to 37 in the Chester & District Sunday League. It has also seen the launch of a brand new crest, more dynamic and cool for the younger players to be associated with – yet with a tip of the hat to the history formed before them.

The task of designing the new crest fell to Matt Dallinson, a huge football fan who prides himself on original work and styles. Matt and the committee discussed what was important and MD hit it for six! A crest we can be proud of that is unique and no longer carries the traditional shield look – that custom house copied when they did their new badge… No hard feelings, ours is better :-p .

The crest makes its debut August 19th 2018, following its big reveal at Legends Day V, in June the same year. But, to commemorate, the boys have got together at Live! Youth Center (Newscene) to model it. Some brylcream and a few tattoos were on display when Andy Morfett guided them through another modeling effort.
